https://ift.tt/Oj01b3 An autopsy performed on Tommy “Tiny” Lister found that the actor best known for his role as Deebo in the  Friday  franchise died of hypertensive and atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease, TMZ reports . The L.A. County Medical Examiner said Lister also tested positive for COVID-19, but concluded that heart disease was the cause of death.  Lister’s manager Cindy Cowan said in December that he tested positive four months prior to his death. Cowan recalls him struggling to breathe and feeling lethargic. Despite going through many of the common symptoms, Lister was never hospitalized, and opted to stay home and quarantine. A week before his sudden passing, Cowan said he was expected to come by her home, but decided to stay away because he was fearful that he contracted the virus again.  Those close to Lister grew concerned about his health when they hadn’t heard from him days prior to his death. According to an exclusive Variety   report, the 43-year-old entertainer is close to landing his very own series for  Paramount Plus —ViacomCBS’ streaming platform, formerly known as CBS Access. Sources say the program will be based off the U.K.’s popular talk show Later with Jools Holland , as it will include musical performances and interview segments “in a setting designed to look like an after-hours club for musicians.” The show, which will reportedly be called  Later with John Mayer , is expected to air weekly on Paramount Plus with occasional specials airing on CBS. https://ift.tt/Oj01b3 TMZ has learned that a lawsuit has been filed against  Famous Dex  for allegedly creating an elaborate story to cover up for the disappearance of a luxury watch that he agreed to promote on social media.  The alleged watch owner claims that when he and Dex met in person, the rapper was given the timepiece to view and snap some pictures, but he somehow made off with it, and couldn’t be reached. When Dex finally contacted him, he said the watch was stolen, along with thousands of dollars in cash, when he was robbed at gunpoint by four men. The robbery was reported by TMZ last month. The watch owner claims he was with Dex while he was speaking with police to report the robbery, and he was handcuffed and detained for a while, but never charged. The plaintiff thinks Dex is lying about getting robbed, alleging he saw the watch on the rapper’s Instagram, and believes he tried to sell it to the jeweler. He’s seeking at least $90,000 in damages. It always makes me happy when a recipe calls for ingredients I have on hand and this is one such recipe. I was intrigued with Ina’s version of this classic Italian sauce because she cooks a bunch of garlic cloves in olive oil for 10 minutes until softened before blending them with good tomatoes. She also adds crushed fennel seeds to her version which I think made the sauce extra special. My husband, kids, and I sat around our family room and ate bowls of this pasta for a recent family lunch.
