The lawsuit claims the company made a deal with Google, called a “content Hosting Services Agreement” where Planeless would receive a license fee of $3,000,000 with a $500,000 bonus for certain promotional activities for the film.

But, in 2018, Google terminated its relationship with Planeless and refused to distribute its movie, because Logan Paul posted a broadcast of “Suicide Forest” on his YouTube vlog channel. Logan was penalized for his improper conduct as his channel was demonetized.

The company claims Paul was “on a global basis and in all forms of media, was immediately and severely criticized for his repugnant” and Google determined that the suicide broadcast was a "noncurable event" pursuant to its agreement with Planeless.
