Here’s a Look at Drake and Nike’s NOCTA Capsule Dropping Next Month
Drake and Nike are gearing up to release the next round of NOCTA gear.
Arriving next week, the forthcoming capsule collection doesn’t stray too far from the previous drop, offering an assortment of monochromatic athletic-wear pieces with a heavy emphasis on functionality and innovative tech. Standout designs include a lightweight zip-up jacket featuring Gore-Tex technology, a paneled fleece jacket made with Polartec, and a heavy-duty utility vest with foam insulation. There’s also a couple of minimalist short-sleeve tees, a Gore-Tex pullover hoodie, a reflective strapback hat, and a pair of Magnigrip gloves.
Drake announced his Nike sub-line at the end of 2020, as fans patiently awaited his Certified Lover Boy album.
“I mean, growing up Nike was everything. It felt like every shoe I wanted, every athlete I liked, everything I owned was Nike. It didn’t mean anything unless it had a Swoosh,” Drake wrote in the announcement. “… NOCTA is about creating something for people on the move. People who want functional, comfortable fits that are adaptable from one environment to the next. But as much as it’s about what we make, it’s also about a mindset: an unforgiving drive, a relentlessness. Characterized by the type who are on the road all day, all night — the grinders, the hard workers — trying to accomplish their goals and taking no short cuts.”
You can check out the latest NOCTA items in the images below. The capsule will be available at Nike’s online store at 8 a.m. ET on April 7.
