Sheet Pan Egg-in-a-Hole with Bacon

A fun classic breakfast that’s made even easier by making several servings at once on a sheet pan. I’m so glad I found this recipe on Damn Delicious because I will never again make these little beauties one at a time on the stovetop.  My family loves bacon, eggs, and toast so egg-in-a-hole is always a big hit with my family. I surprised them recently with this tasty breakfast and we all thought it was delicious.

How to Make Sheet Pan Egg-in-a-Hole with Bacon

Preheat the oven to 400 degrees.

Place the bacon on a sheet pan in a single layer. Place into the oven and bake until par-cooked, about 6-7 minutes. Transfer bacon to some paper towels.  Side Note: You can also par-cook the bacon in a skillet over medium heat if you prefer.

Coat the baking sheet with cooking spray if needed.

Butter one side of each slice of bread, then using a 3-inch biscuit cutter, make a hole in the center of each bread slice. Place the bread butter side down on the baking sheet along with the buttered circles.

Add two bacon slices to each slice of bread then gently crack an egg into each hole.

Place into the oven and bake until the egg whites have set, about 10-12 minutes, turning the sheet pan halfway through baking.

Remove from the oven and top with freshly chopped chives then season with sea salt and freshly cracked pepper, to taste. Serve immediately! Enjoy.
