J.I.D Spends Time Outdoors in Video for “29 (Freestyle)”
J.I.D has dropped off the video for his Christo-produced song “29 (Freestyle).”
“Is it Kool if I drop this freestyle cuz I miss yall and I care :)? Let me know,” the Dreamville artist wrote shortly before sharing the track and its accompanying video.
“we pushing these envelopes of sound and flow and pockets and all that shit in this next body of work, I appreciate christo always being light years ahead with his ear and experimentation, jus a lil freestyle for ya,” the rapper wrote on Twitter.

In other news, J.I.D recently linked with John Legend on the singer’s track “Dope.” Speaking with Eddie Francis on Apple Music 1, Legend called J.I.D “such a gifted lyricist.” He continued, “He’s got such great charisma and great energy and we were looking for the perfect artist to join with me on this record. We were just listening to his body of work and thinking of what we could do on the track. We sent it to him and he loved the track and wanted to get on it and man… he murdered it.”
A music video for “Dope” that was directed by Christian Breslauer is also available. Check it out below.
