Unseasonable Weather Breaks 13 Temperature Records Across NL - VOCM
A lot of weather records were smashed yesterday in the province with 14 either broken or tied.
A warm southerly flow also brought a lot of moisture with it but it’s just the opposite today as winds front to the northwest which means cool and dry.
Meteorologist Robert Grove of the Gander Weather Office says Thursday was unseasonably warm.
Thirteen records were broken and one was tied. St. John’s was the hot spot at 21.6, an all-time record by far, and Millertown-Buchans tied their record high for October 27.
